About Us
PureCart® Systems was formed in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in 2006, by parents concerned about public health. They initially developed the PureCart System to provide the grocery store consumer with a much safer and healthier shopping experience. After researching past designs and consulting with grocery store owners and consumers, the founders developed a safe, simple to operate, reliable and cost-effective system.
The base solution has been tested to eliminate 99%+ of commonly found bacteria (like MRSA, staphylococcus, typical E.coli, salmonella and listeria), yeast, fungus and mold that can be present on shopping carts and harmful to the public.
PureCart's patented system has been received by the media and public with astounding success! PureCart has been featured in USA TODAY, the Wall Street Journal, NBC's TODAY Show, ABC's World News Tonight and the Rachael Ray Show, along with over 250+ other news outlets.
PureCart is also a winner of the iParenting Media Award-2007 Outstanding Product Winner and the 2006 Governor's New Product Award.
In early 2009, in response to the healthcare community, PureCart released its newest product, PureMist, designed to sanitize labor-intensive and hard-to-reach surfaces in the healthcare industry, such as wheelchairs, fixtures, cabinets, bed rails, stretchers, walls, floors, etc.
PureCart is a privately-held company and is not publically traded. PureCart is manufactured and marketed in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
